Grand Opening/Recipe of the Month
We are very excited to announce Deep Fork Pecans will be open full-time starting September 16, 2015. We will be offering pecan and pecan items year 'round. Also, we are adding several locally grown and crafted items; as well as, several vintage items and antiques as aquired. September Recipe of the Month . . .
1 c. butter
4 T. sugar
2 c. cake flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. small pecan pieces, lightly toasted
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the cake flour, vanilla and pecans. Roll into small balls about the size of a marble. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minues. Roll in powdered sugar while still hot. When cool, roll again in powdered sugar.
